I Know Girls Love Beyonce...

Beyonce is literally dominating all aspects of all and any possible industry right now & I wouldn't be surprised if she eventually took over the world. I for one would not resist her leadership! Do I love the woman? YES!

Last week, not only was the Beyonce for H&M Summer campaign video released, but I was granted the great opportunity to see her in concert live at the LG Arena, Birmingham! Never have I been so excited in my life. That week actually sent my heart into overdrive!

Getting the opportunity to see her live made my admiration for her grow. Mother, Wife, Daughter, Business woman and worldwide icon, she holds it all down! It's almost like she was this myth and legend that I can now admit t being real. Her work ethic is only one that I can aspire to gain myself.

I did attempt to record some footage of the show, but the storage on my phone was literally so full no matter how much I deleted, videos would only last a few seconds. Sad times!

I'll still upload them, but like I said, the quality won't be amazing! Sorry!

Also, please excuse me singing in the background haha I couldn't stop myself!

Nottingham BBloggers Meet Up.

 So last Saturday, Saadiya, Gavina and I attended the Nottingham BBloggers meet up! It was so nice to be able to spend a day with people who have the same interests as you! Such a great platform for sharing and spreading ideas and getting yourself known!

Say WAH!

I love nail art! Trolling through the images that are frequently posted up on Instagram and Tumblr is where I tend to find the most unique designs. But my favourite go to for nail designs is most deinitely WAH Nails! Situated in London, they've two nail bars in which they conjure up their magical designs!

Not yet having the privilege of visiting the amazing WAH girls myself, I often produce pic stitches and snippings of designs that send my cuticles tingling!

Situated a little bit closer to home in Cardiff, I have found my own alternative nail bar, Wonderland beauty and nail salon. The girls there are a God send and are dab hand at what they do!

Gel sculptures in a ravishing red with copper glitter tips and little gold bows are what I opted for. Girly but deadly! I love them! My only concern now is how I'm going  maintain them whilst at Uni in Nottingham!
Know of any truly decent nail bars up the Nottingham end of the words, let me know! I've grown attached to my lovely talons and don't want to have to let them go!

Neglect

Deepest apologies and strongest regrets! I have fully neglected both my blog, hobbies, interests and self!

Almost 6 months of stagnant page activity and stagnant progression in self fulfilment. Why? Because I am easily distracted and procrastinate far too much! If you don't like something, change it! And that is fully what I intend to do! And I fully intend to start with these characteristics.

So my first blog post in how ever many months is a mere humble apology to not only my inner blossoming self that I have failed to nurture, but to the mere passers by who have found themselves stumbling upon my page!

But today has been one of those days in which I have woken up and put my  game face on! Daydreams about my hopes, aspirations and desired future simply won't cut it any more. Time to get serious!

So, this blog will continue to be a following of my utter and complete random life! But will also be a channel for me record my 'dear diary' moments and track my own progress in life!

Goals? Apart from my current yearning to develop a set of abs like the ultimate it girl for the fabulous life of a glamorous lady thug, Teyana Taylor herself! My main goal right now is just be content in myself and life! To feel good about myself! Through exercise (pretty key if I want abs!), uni, music, friends, fashion and all else that I may encounter, I hope to achieve both happiness and success.

But success is not success unless you can use it to benefit others! Most of all, I wish to inspire. Both those I know and those I don't know. If I could inspire only one passing stranger I could honestly say that I have become successful in being me!

Power of the Brow!

It's amazing what the smallest changes to a face can do! Not many people realise it, but the eyebrow plays key significane in the shaping of a face!

I most definitely became aware of this on Monday & never before have I been so appreciative og getting my eyebrows threaded!
Not to say I haven't experienced a great sense of relief before, but this time was different!
For 3 months, of which I am truly ashamed, I suffered the humiliation of having the eyebrows of a yeti! My beautician can quite honestly work wonders, making something out of nothing! It's like my face can breathe again! Truly & utterly amazing!

But it seemed the world had to keep itself in balance! With the good, must come the bad! As I recently mentioned, I replaced my laddered HOH Super Suspender tights with a fresh pair! I should be happy right?...NO! Me being the goon that I am, I laddered my 2nd pair on a night out with the girls last night :( Will I be investing in a 3rd pair? HELL YAAA! I Love me some HOH!

Hate to end this on a low note, but I thought i'd burden you all with my sorrows! Feel my pain! :)
